Wrappers
Canada Garbage Pail Kids 1st Series wrapper
Canada Garbage Pail Kids 4th Series wrapper
The Canada Garbage Pail Kids series are almost identical to the United States Garbage Pail Kids series.  The one of main differences are the pack wrappers.  The Canada Garbage Pail Kids pack wrappers have markings to indicate that the product was manufactured in Canada.  The Canada Garbage Pail Kids 1st Series wrapper has a Ring Pop advertisement on the side, English and French text, and "O-Pee-Chee" printed on the front.  The Canada Garbage Pail Kids 3rd Series, Canada Garbage Pail Kids 4th Series, Canada Garbage Pail Kids 5th Series, and Canada Garbage Pail Kids 9th Series wrappers have "GUM MADE IN CANADA" printed on them near the bar code.

Additional Notes
The Canada Garbage Pail Kids 1st Series was only distributed in Canada, and the only way to originally get the Canada Garbage Pail Kids 1st Series boxes was to buy them from card dealers in Canada.  The Canada Garbage Pail Kids 1st Series packs only contain 4 cards instead of 5 cards like the United States Garbage Pail Kids 1st Series.  The Canada Garbage Pail Kids 3rd Series, 4th Series, 5th Series, and 9th Series have 5 cards per pack and appear to have originally been distributed in both the United States and Canada.  It is possible that there was product manufactured in Canada for a Canada Garbage Pail Kids 2nd Series, 6th Series, 7th Series, 8th Series, 10th Series, 11th Series, 12th Series, 13th Series, 14th Series, and 15th Series; but there are no identification marks on the packaging from those series to indicate that.

Besides the differences between the Canada Garbage Pail Kids and the United States Garbage Pail Kids wrappers, the Canada Garbage Pail Kids cards have rough-cut edges.  The Canada Garbage Pail Kids cards are often off-center and poorly packaged, also.

The Canada Garbage Pail Kids 1st Series cards only have matte card backs, which is unlike the United States Garbage Pail Kids 1st Series cards that were printed on matte card stock and glossy card stock.

The Canada Garbage Pail Kids 9th Series packs with "ALL NEW" printed on the front sometimes contain the 355b Semi Colin card without the card number printed on it, and that error card is the most valuable Canada Garbage Pail Kids and United States Garbage Pail Kids card.  Only some packs from a specific printing contain the error card.  The United States Garbage Pail Kids 9th Series section contains more information on the packs that contain error card.

There possibly are a few wrapper variations from the Canada Garbage Pail Kids and United States Garbage Pail Kids that have not been determined yet, but it is speculated that they have "GUM MADE IN CANADA" printed on them.  The wrapper code thought to be missing is: 0-490-21-04-6.  And, that code could possibly be for the 3rd Series, 4th Series, or 5th Series.  Also, it is possible that there are 4th Series packs with the wrapper code 0-490-21-06-6 that have a white mushroom cloud (besides the known purple mushroom cloud variation) on the front.

I grouped the Canada Garbage Pail Kids and United States Garbage Pail Kids together because they are nearly identical.  You can find more information about each of the Canada Garbage Pail Kids series along with variation lists in my United States Garbage Pail Kids section.
