Excluding the packaging and card size, the Australia The Garbage Gang 1st Series is almost the same as the United States Garbage Pail Kids 1st Series.  The card variations in the Australia The Garbage Gang 1st Series are completely different than the United States Garbage Pail Kids 1st Series.  The only character name changed for the Australia The Garbage Gang 1st Series was 37b Hedda Offa.

 

Additional Notes

The Australia The Garbage Gang 1st Series is somewhat similar to the New Zealand Garbage Pail Kids 1st Series.  However, the Australia The Garbage Gang 1st Series has completely different card variations, the "The Garbage Gang" banner is straight, the inking on the cards is much darker, and the card checklists are white.
